The Los Angeles County Bar Association has been making a difference in the professional lives of lawyers, and in the lives of the people of Los Angeles Country, for over 125 years.  With more than 25,000 members, over 100 committees and sections, and a score of public service projects, our association provides exceptional career resources for our members, an effective voice for the profession and vital services to the community.

We make a difference in our member's professional lives by offering the widest range of continuing legal education, practice aids, and professional networking.  To aid our members in the business of their practices, we afford law practice management tips and training, as well as numerous discounts on a broad range of items, from insurance to cell phones.
We also make a difference in our member's professional lives by affording opportunities to improve the system of administration of justice, whether working with judges on court improvement projects or with the Legislature on improving our laws.  As the largest metropolitan bar association in the country, our voice on behalf of lawyers and the public is heard in a number of forums, from the courts to the legislature, from Sacramento to Washington, from our affiliate local bars to the American Bar Association.
